This course outlines the fundamentals of how elections are administered in Missouri. For many experienced clerks, the course will include information you already know a lot about, but there will no doubt be reminders or content you’ve not thought about recently. For new clerks and staff members, this is an overview of what you need to know to perform your job as an election administrator.

In this course, we will:

• Review the fundamentals of election administration in Missouri
• Examine the roles and responsibilities of state and local election officials
• Identify and practice locating sources of federal and state election laws and regulations
• Pinpoint key dates and events on the Missouri election calendar

Along the way, there will be activities and quizzes to test your knowledge.
